In 2003, we opened our first brick and mortar Abacus Brain Gym learning center in Austin, Texas. Since then, Abacus Brain Gym has expanded with learning centers across Texas, the United States, and even globally in countries such as Qatar, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Egypt!
But recently, we've made an exciting change...

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we launched Learn Abacus Online in order to continue offering our program in a safe online environment. After recognizing both its effectiveness and convenience, we have since fully transitioned to and evolved our online program into a comprehensive self-guided online abacus mental math learning platform. Now, parents and their children from anywhere in the world can access, learn, and train with our curriculum on their own and from the comfort of their home!

Meet Juli Agustar
Juli Agustar was a new mom who spent a lot of time researching the best things she could do to not miss out on her son's most critical developmental years. In 2001, her life changed during a family vacation to Asia, when she encountered an abacus mental math competition. After witnessing firsthand the mind-blowing mental math performances by the kids there, she knew she needed to provide this training for her son. However, upon returning back to the U.S. and finding no abacus programs available, she took it upon herself to go back and visit the best abacus training centers in Asia to learn the curriculum herself so she could provide this amazing training for her son and other children in her local community. That was when Abacus Brain Gym was born. Today, Juli is on a mission to make sure that no child misses out on this transformational program!
